November 28, 2017
On this Giving Tuesday, I hope you will support FotoFest International 2017 Annual Fund dedicated to the upcoming FotoFest 2018 Biennial in Houston, and FotoFest’s year-round Literacy Through Photography learning program.
CHOOSE YOUR LEVEL
FotoFest – especially through the Biennial – has a million-dollar economic impact on Houston, and it brings thousands of people from all over the U.S. and the international world to Houston. This stimulus is very important to the city and its post-Harvey recovery.
After Harvey, working closely with partners, our in-school learning program, Literacy Through Photography, has mobilized to work in schools serving kids from low-income families severely affected by Harvey. FotoFest’s program uses photography to helps students with their comprehension, expression, reading, writings, and language skills. The program was in over 90 classrooms last year - many of them schools serving low-income neighborhoods. FotoFest is committed to serving schools and kids in need of these special programs.
Your gift today will support every aspect of FotoFest, the Biennial, and Literacy Through Photography. Please support these programs that create a platform for art, ideas, and cultural exchange that shares the spirit of Houston with the world.
Your support makes a difference. Thank you for making FotoFest part of your #GivingTuesday!
