Successes of the Meeting Place
Artists
The Meeting Place Portfolio Reviews are an important and integral part of the FotoFest Biennial. The Meeting Place Portfolio Reviews provide an opportunity for 450 artists to meet with over 150 national and international curators, publishers, gallerists, and photography industry leaders. The Meeting Place remains the most international and largest portfolio review program of its kind in the world.
Over the years, hundreds of artists and reviewers have sent letters and emails to FotoFest about the ways in which they have benefited through participation in the Meeting Place Portfolio Reviews. In 2008 FotoFest initiated and developed the
Successes of the Meeting Place webpages as a way to highlight the many accomplishments. Listed below are some of the many valuable opportunities that have came about through the Meeting Place Portfolio Reviews.

“FotoFest was an incredible experience for me. I left feeling like I had taken the next step in the promotion of my artwork, built valuable connections with colleagues, and left full of inspiration to continue my photography."
